The Association is often requested to recommend a hotel or a place to stay in Flanders or in the Somme Region. What may suit one individual may not suit another, so the Association does not make recommendations. However some of our members make frequent trips to these areas and often elect to stay in places that they consider comfortable and that they have grown to trust over time. To see these personal recommendations click here. The Association encourages members to visit Ieper (Ypres) in Belgium in the month of March on St. Patrick's Day (that occurs annually on the 17 March). Members that are present parade at the Menin Gate for the Last Post Ceremony If you would like to know more about the Ypres St Patrick's parade click here. |
