Guillemont Commemoration

On the 9th September 2006, representatives of the Leinster Regiment Association took part in the 90th Anniversary Commemoration of the relief of Guillemont, France, by the 16th (Irish) Division during early September 1916.

The Commemoration was sponsored by the Mayor of Guillemont, Didier Samain and was attended by the people of the village and members of the Combined Irish Regiments Association. During the commemoration a statue of Saint Patrick was presented by the Combined Irish Regiments Association to the village.

This short video clip captures the spirit of those who attended the commemoration.
