Review of Royal Picardie Hotel, Albert Part of the Best Western chain, but privately owned. Three
star. English spoken. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Somme.
Not over expensive but not inexpensive either. Expect to pay a rate between 50
and 100 pounds sterling (78 to 160 Euro) for two people room only. Special
deals can be negotiated. The restaurant is excellent. Rooms are all en-suite and
a good size but can get warm in the summer evenings. No air conditioning in
rooms. Rooms at the front have windows that open onto a well stocked illuminated
